Kagoshima is a region in Japan. It wants to sell tea to other countries. The tea is called tencha. Tencha is used to make matcha. Matcha is a green tea. Many people like matcha because it is good for health.
A farmer named Kamimuro grows tea. He grows another tea called sencha in the past. But now, he grows tencha. Tencha makes more money. To grow it, he must cover the tea leaves from the sun. He also buys a big machine to dry the leaves.
Many people in the world want matcha. But there is not enough tencha. A company helps farmers find people to buy the tea. They want to send tea from Japan to the world.
Difficult words: region (a part of a country), cover (to put something over something else), dry (to make something free from water).
